Ever since entering the guinea pig breeding business 4 years ago, i have never stopped being surprised about how beautiful the babies are. i specialise in more unusual guinea pig breeds such as alpacos, abyssinians and peruvians, although i also breed: teddies, swiss teddies, shelties, coronettes and cream selfs. this is a family run business, with both me and my eldest daughter taking great pride and care in raising my pigs, so i am available after the sale to advise you, should any unfortunate illnesses occur.
all my guinea pigs have been hand-reared so they are all friendly and do not bite or scratch maliciously. i will not sell my pigs before they are ready to leave their mothers. at the moment i have pigs that are ready to go for christmas. alternatively i have younger babies who will be ready before christmas, which you can come and reserve and pick up any time between now and up until christmas eve at midnight, to ensure your children are surprised.
i always advise my customers to buy the pigs, in trios or more as they are sociable animals and do not have many problems in groups as long as they have been together since babies. viewings are very welcome (i live less than a five minute drive from bluewater), as are enquires both by email - emily.bushell@hotmail.com /phone – 07733010709 or 07983245622. i will endeavour to make the timings as convenient as possible. if i do not pick up my phone, please send me a text and i will get back to you at the earliest possible opportunity.
i will also explain common illnesses that guinea pigs can get and the best way to deal with them, without extortionate pet bills.
many of my pigs are pedigree, so they are more expensive than others; however all my pigs are priced between £15-20.
currently i have a large selection of boars (boys) and sows (girls) available, with long hair, short hair, shiny hair and ‘rosettes’ fur.
